ALLAN MCGREGOR - 7
Not hugely involved as we dominated possession throughout. Could do nothing as he was left exposed by poor defending for the equaliser.
JAMES TAVERNIER - 6
Should have been given a foul on the edge of the Hibs box which they then broke from to score.
JOE WORRALL - 7
Another decent game from Worrall.
CONNOR GOLDSON – 5
A bit off it again, not sure if he's carrying a niggle but seemed to struggle all night and might possibly have done better at their goal.
ANDY HALLIDAY - 6
Decent enough, another who might have done better at the equaliser.
GLEN KAMARA - 8 MOTM
Outstanding in the first half and more than decent in the second. Becoming a real mainstay of the team given how little he's played in terms of the season. Had Hibs penned in for large spells of the game.
RYAN JACK - 7
Didn't look to be suffering any after effects of that injury, played very well for the first hour or so in tandem with Kamara.
SCOTT ARFIELD - 7
Excellent in the first half but again final ball and decision making lets him down at key moments. Frustrating.
DANIEL CANDEIAS – 7
From the sublime to the ridiculous with both goals. Did so well to take another bite at the cherry with his unfavoured foot and what a finish. Seemed to be posted missing tracking back - for once - in the break that led to Hibs goal.
RYAN KENT – 7
Really good in the first half and then seemed to lose a little confidence in the second after Hibs change of shape. Needs to add more output.
ALFREDO MORELOS - 7
Decent without being fantastic. Really should have buried at least one chance, possibly two. Incorrectly flagged for offside on the halfway line too.
JERMAINE DEFOE - 3
Came on immediately after the Hibs equaliser but to no avail.
STEVEN GERRARD - 7
I"m not really sure there's much else the manager could have tried in this game. The first half was genuinely up there with the best of this season in terms of build up play and chance creation - we just lacked that killer instinct. McCrorie and/or Defoe could have possibly been on earlier than the goal - but that's nit picking I think.
