ALLAN MCGREGOR - 7
Hibs had a couple of chances, neither he could particularly do much about. Wasn't overly stretched such was the level of the team's dominance.
JAMES TAVERNIER - 6
A bit better than he's been recently but still not quite hitting his highs. Contributed a lot in an attacking sense and found himself in central areas more frequently. Could have had a hat trick, pretty much!
GARETH MCAULEY - 7
Marshalled the defence, caught a bit for pace by Oli Shaw in the second half and had to come off with a slight knock.
CONOR GOLDSON - 8
I thought Goldson was brilliant in this game, intercepting well and shoring things up. Hopefully his substitution just a precaution.
BORNA BARISIC - 8
Brilliant performance, absolutely dominated the left wing. So assured in possession and despite being so one footed, he's able to pass inside and outside with great ease.
RYAN JACK - 9 MOTM
Probaly Jack's best performance of the season. I've been very critical but he was terrific here, constantly snapping into tackles and playing with a verve and punch that's been missing recently.
SCOTT ARFIELD - 5
Subbed in 46' minutes as a precaution, had had a decent first half without really making much of an impact in dangerous areas.
LASSANA COULIBALY - 7
His best game in a while but still not back on form consistently. Pushed forward a little here with Jack sitting deeper and showed his energy & tackling power. Shocking tackle from Porteous dented his game a little bit and should have resulted in a red card.
DANIEL CANDEIAS - 7
Again, a player who was improved on last few weeks but without really being back to his best.
ALFREDO MORELOS - 8
His performance probably deserved a 9 overall, however he missed a fair few chances. In spite of that, the way he's creating chances for himself and generally dominating defences proves that this was just a bad day in front of goal. Priceless.
EROS GREZDA - 6
Did OK on the approach, however decision making is starting to be a bit of an issue. Needs to release the ball quicker, however the combinations with Barisic are getting him into good positions which can only bode well.
ROSS MCCRORIE - 6
Only on for the second half but what a fantastic cameo from McCrorie. He should rightly feel aggrieved he didn't start the game but showed a fantastic mentality not to let his head go down. Gives us so much energy in the middle and while his passing isn't the best, he's always looking to break up play and get it forwards. Exactly what we need.
JOE WORRALL - 4
Did OK - one shocking pass straight to the opposition aside. Stock is falling fast, and the crowd has turned.
GLENN MIDDLETON - 2
We had been getting joy in this game by moving away from our 'cross at all costs' approach of the last two or three weeks so I didn't think this was a game suited to Middleton's talents. Only got a late run out but didn't have much impact.
STEVEN GERRARD - 8
I'm not sure as a manager he could really have done much else, we missed a fair few chances. One or two that could go down as being very straightforward. We were excellent in our approach play, constantly switching up the way we attacked and giving Hibs all sorts of problems. He said after the game this is how he wants the team to play and I think if we can deliver this anywhere near consistently we'll be OK.
