ALLAN MCGREGOR - 7
Four shots and only one on target for Aberdeen tells it's own story about how involved he was in this game. Always good value for moaning at referees though even when he's having a quiet game!
JAMES TAVERNIER - 8
Penalties 12 & 13 of the season dispatched with aplomb. Just the one miss in the match against St Mirren - terrific record! Also fantastic to break his own record for most goals scored by a defender.
NIKO KATIC - 8
Excellent performance, won both penalties and dominated Cosgrove throughout. Improving with the ball at his feet, too.
CONNOR GOLDSON – 7
Another decent performance, needs to drive forward with the ball more when in possession. Too many safe passes to Jack & Tav when he could commit players and get things moving.
JON FLANAGAN - 7
Looks much more like the full back we had earlier in the season. Never going to be fantastic but did well enough here.
STEVEN DAVIS - 8 MOTM
RYAN JACK - 7
Did well knitting things together, slightly deeper than he's been previously but still sitting ahead of Davis.
GLEN KAMARA - 7
His ability to control the space around the ball is invaluable, so strong & clever at using his body and excellent ball possession throughout. Being hyper-critical, I think he's another who will need to add more offensive skills to his game to be a first pick next season.
RYAN KENT – 7
A quiet return from the on loan Liverpool winger but he always carries a threat. Tough to do anything when you've got Dom Ball hanging onto your leg following you about to be fair.
SCOTT ARFIELD – 7
Any decent play in the first half came about a result of us getting the ball quickly to Arfield centrally and him making something happen. Lovely flick into Defoe should have brought the opener but Lewis saved well.
JERMAINE DEFOE - 7
I'm still surprised how quick he is for his age! Movement & touch were on point again today - and a wee bit of bastardry too for good measure. Unlucly not to score as said above but brought a lot to the table.
DANIEL CANDEIAS - 3
Last 6 minutes to mix things up, game was over and not much else to say really.
ROSS McCRORIE - 3
Good to see the young pretender to The Sweet Prince's crown getting off the bench again after not appearing last week. Midfield are playing so well he can't get a look in unfortunately.
LEE WALLACE - 2
On at the end for a send off - thought he was clean through on goal at one point which would have been quite the story!
STEVEN GERRARD - 8
Credit for sticking with this formation against a team who were always going to pack the box and suffocate centrally. I had thought he may try and go high and wide against them again but he stuck to it even after a sticky first half and it paid dividends. Food for thought again!
