Match Ratings - Rangers 3 - 0 Livingston

Based on just the scoreline, you'd think this was one of those classic Walter Smith 3-0 home games where we were never in trouble. That's not entirely true, there's an argument that Livingston had the better of the game for spells here, but Alfredo Morelos coming off the bench soon changed that.

ALLAN MCGREGOR - 7
Classic performance, not a huge amount to do but what he had he dealt with easily.

JAMES TAVERNIER - 7
Didn't put a foot wrong, wasn't quite as incisive going forward but still found a lot of space on the right.

GARETH MCAULEY - 8
Strolled it, albeit up against a makeshift striker in Scott Robinson. Think Hearts at the weekend will be more his game, rather than Thursday against Villareal.

CONOR GOLDSON - 7
Looked much more assured than last time out against Spartak Moscow, McAuley seemed to be a calming influence. Played on the left here rather than his usual right centre half berth.

ANDY HALLIDAY - 6
Not a great performance, but wasn't terrible by any means. Barisic will be a big plus point if he can get back into the fold for the weekend.

RYAN JACK - 8
Our best midfielder, kept the ball well and was neat and tidy. Wasn't really stretched by Livingston.

OVIE EJARIA - 5
I thought he was very quiet, bordering on poor. One excellent ball recovery aside, he didn't do much here.

SCOTT ARFIELD - 7
Dropped out of the game totally after a decent start. Seemed to come alive once Morelos came on, and scored a lovely clipped finish after great Morelos build up play.

GLENN MIDDLETON - 7
Clearly much more than a one trick pony now, his delivery is incredible and we shouldn't underestimate how timely that opening goal was. Terrific ball in for Candeias which broke Livingston’s early resistance which is crucial in these games.

DANIEL CANDEIAS - 7
The goal aside, he didn't do a whole lot. Ran himself into the ground as usual but his crossing was very erratic.

KYLE LAFFERTY - 6
I thought he did a bit better than he's been given credit for. He occupied the centre halves and caused a nuisance of himself. Not much really came off for them but you could argue he tired Livingston out and Morelos came on to finish them off.

ALFREDO MORELOS - 8 MOTM
Put the game beyond doubt. The difference he made was so telling, everyone upped their game an extra 10-15%. Terrific finish on his left foot and a lovely assist for Arfield. Huge cameo.

JON FLANAGAN - 4
On for Halliday in 76 minutes, game was beyond doubt shortly after.

LASSANA COULIBALY - 4
Late sub for Ejaria who was struggling, would imagine Coulibaly will feature from the start on Thursday.

STEVEN GERRARD - 8
Will be well pleased with a relatively generous scoreline particularly given the away result against Livingston.
