Adam is back to give his take on today's comfortable 4-0 win against Dundee at Ibrox.
ALLAN MCGREGOR - 7
Quiet game for McGregor, probably exactly what he wanted! Not much to do but always on hand to snuff out any danger. Will have welcomed a quieter game ahead of Thursday.
JAMES TAVERNIER - 7
Patchy from Tav today, in line with the managers thoughts on the performance overall. Deadly from the penalty spot to make it 3 right on halftime.
NIKOLA KATIC - 7
Strolled it yet again, the big Croatian has been excellent so far. Wildly exceeding my expectations every week.
CONNOR GOLDSON - 7
Just what was that Motherwell blip all about?! Goldson is back on form and is an excellent defender, the best we've had in 7 years at least. Absolutely cruised it yesterday.
BORNA BARISIC - 7
Barisic was decent without being spectacular yesterday. Powerful running causes issues, did well to recover the ball for the first goal and was involved later in that sequence before the ball broke to Coulibaly.
ANDY HALLIDAY - 9 MOTM
I thought Halliday was excellent in this game. Did everything you could ask from a player coming into the team as cover. Used the ball well, pressed to a decent level and covered a lot of ground. Great performance.
SCOTT ARFIELD - 8
I thought Arfield may have been rested with Thursday in mind, but Jack's injury probably put paid to that. Another assured performance from the 29 year old in the middle of the park. Used the ball well and got forward to support Morelos in Ejaria's absence. Lovely little one two with Kent in the build up to his goal, excellent the kind of play we need to break down defences in these games.
RYAN KENT - 9
Terrific performance from Kent, he's been unlucky not to score before now and took his chance well. Could even have had another just before half time but Elliot Parish got an excellent hand to it. Kent was fast and direct as usual, but seemed to be a lot more decisive in the final third in terms of final ball.
HEART & HAND'S LASSANA COULIBALY - 8
Great to have our boy back in the team! He provided everything we've missed over the last few weeks. Power, pace, drive. Took his goal very very well, broke play up and generally just strolled it. Big player on Thursday night.
ALFREDO MORELOS - 7
Unlucky day again for Alfie but I felt he contributed well overall. Unlucky to have his goal ruled offside - looked about 2 yards on from where I was - but the build up play and his finish were excellent. Not quite a sitter for me in the second half, but he should have done better, just needs to learn to place his shot rather than power it in those situations. Unlucky not to get one in the second half but another decent save from Parish tipped it wide.
DANIEL CANDEIAS - 8
A classic Candeias performance, ran the Dundee left side ragged. Tremendous ball in for Alfie's offiside goal and continued to contribute well despite being moved about positionally in the second half.
GLENN MIDDLETON - 5
Good cameo again from Glenn, his direct running and tremendous delivery causes all sorts of problems for defenders. Took his goal well on his wrong foot.
KYLE LAFFERTY - 4
Quite unlucky not to get on the scoresheet, although he was a mile offside for his offside goal. Not the best of performances from him, but may still be recovering from the knock he picked up on NI duty.
EROS GREZDA - 3
15 minute cameo from the Albanian, the game was over by this point but he looks like he will have something in his locker. Clearly not match fit yet as the manager mentioned post match, but showed some decent touches at this early stage.
STEVEN GERRARD - 8
Really pleasing to hear he was disappointing post match. He clearly is a perfectionist who won't less a 4-0 scoreline gloss over areas for improvement. I thought he used his substitutions well to get players some game time/rest time ahead of a huge game on Thursday against Villarreal.
